I'm still trying to understand Facebook, but I am a bit of a social nerd
anyway. Facebook is way too practical for me.

Pictures? I save them on my hard drive and share them by email.
What I am doing at any given time? Who really cares? It is presumptuous to
think that anyone wants to know what you had for breakfast.
Messaging? I use Kopete or Pidgin or IRC. Having it all in one place may
seem convenient, but it is a privacy issue. I like to keep some things
separate in my life.

Now Microsoft (geniuses that they are) want to link with Facebook so all of
your friends can see all of your Bing searches. Yikes! Has anyone thought
this through?
