linux newbie, however, my ubuntu is NOT seeing my DVD/CDROM drive on
my Alienware laptop (Area 51m Sentia).

The drive works b/c it worked fine under Fedora, Windows. Not this
distro for some odd reason; plus my drive shows up in my BIOS settings.

Any tips?
