Top Panel under Unity

Date: Feb 07    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 374

I'm trying out Unity again and I managed to hide the launcher so it does
not display at all for most applications.

Now I would like to slightly increase the size of the panel at the top
of the desktop. I could not find out how to do that yet. Does anyone
know?

It is not possible to resize the top panel in Unity so far. That may change
with 12.04. I think that this is the case with GNOME Shell as well, so it
may be inherited from GNOME 3, as both Unity and GS are shells built on top
of GNOME 3.
