Thunderbird crashing after update

Did anyone notice that after the Thunderbird update today that
Thunderbird is now crashing constantly? Ok, crashing is not the word.
When I send a email it just disappears - the entire app. When I check
mail, move mail to any folder, try to add a new calendar event - it just
goes away.

No problems here. The only two things I can think of that are abnormal
with my setup is I'm running fluxbox instead of gnome, and I also didn't
start thunderbird until the update finished. All I can suggest is that
you might want to reinstall the app.

That was an intermittent problem I had BEFORE the update. It looks
like mine has cleared up.
