Lost password for Evolution login keyring

Date: Nov 27    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 1621

I have lost my password for Evolution, the email client for Ubuntu 10.04, and
every time I run the program it asks me for my password. I have to click on
cancel over 4 times and it then asks me what my email address is even though it
is stored in the program.

This password is for the "UNLOCK LOGIN KEYRING".

I am not on a wifi or a network.

Can someone help me with this password dilemma?

It shows the steps of
of "System/Administration/Keyring Manager" and mine has no "Keyring Manager"
when I go from System/Administration.

I am running version 10.04 so that may have changed.

I do not know what happened but I am not being required to give a password for
the login keyring for Evolution.
I rebooted my system like I did previous times and the computer performed a disk
scan and upon booting the system it did require a login password but opening
Evolution email client no password was required.

Thanks goes to all who have tried to help me in this matter. Careful
consideration of passwords will be given in the future.

Yeah, and I am running Kubuntu so can't tell you where else to look. You may
need to install it or it may be under some other name now. Sorry for the
dead end.

I had this before and i deleted the password file in 'Passwords and
encription' program.
When I rebooted I started over again
