Disable Pivot Toolbar

Asked By: Arland    Date: Sep 16    Category: MS Office    Views: 490

I have created a Pivot Table and a chart, which I want to send it to my
subordinates and seniors.

All I want is that, when this particular Pivot Table is displayed (in
"Sheet2"), the Pivot Toolbar should be disabled.

One solution I use is:
Hide the actual sheet that contains the pivot  table.
In another (new) worksheet, have a 'copy' of the pivot table. This 'copy' can be
created by selecting (1st unhiding the original) & copying the actual Pivot
table; then on the 'other' worksheet, paste special 'formats' & 'values' (then
re-hide the original).
The 'format/value' copy of the Pivot table  has no pivot control!

A macro can be created  to automate the sequence of events.
