Very Annoying "AMD Unsupported Hardware" Watermark

I posted a request for help to rid my screen of this
unsightly watermark. I got a couple of suggestions, which I appreciate very
much, but nothing seemed to work. Today I did something I have never done
before, I installed the beta version of Ubuntu 11.10! So far it works perfectly
with everything I need to do and ... the watermark is gone!!! So, even if you
don"t want to go beta, the full version of 11.10 is due out in mid October and
we can all get rid of the "Unsupported Hardware". Thanks again for all those who
tried to help.

Shows things are moving in the right direction, still going to wait
until 12.04LTS for the main upgrade but interesting how 11.10 will be
and probably will test it out

I said I an using 11.10 and like it a lot. As has also been
noted you can log-in with the Classic lok if you do not like the new one
but Iam getting along fine with the bigger icon bar and it contents.
