Video Capture Card

Date: Jan 02    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 377

I'm new to Ubuntu and have managed to get things working well except a
few things I can pick up and still learning. However, I have a video
capture card that doesn't seem to work with Ubuntu. I am running 6.04
and the video card is Sabrent SBT-TVFM / FM Radio / TV Tuner PCI
Capture Card.

My question is, do I need to do anything special to have my card work?
It's been working fine for the last two years on my Windows machine but
I want to migrate everything to Ubuntu. I appreciate any help.

I also have a capture card and have tried MythTV several time with no
luck. I just can't seem to get it to work. I have a Hauppauge WinTV150.

I would love some help also.
