USB wont mount

All of the sudden my usb drive wont mount. What would I check to see why
that is not happening?

There were no noticeable errors in Sys Log.

Try manually mounting it and see what the terminal spits out. Not sure
if it was a system upgrade or a device upgrade, but I know one of my
devices will no longer auto-mount, and I have to manually specify a
filesystem for it each time I want to use it.

I rebooted and it mounted. I removed it and reinserted it and it
mounted so, I dont know what the problem was.

In my case the USB works fine, both the memory stick and the printer work OK.
The problem is with my PPPOE internet connection. Do I need a aspecial ethernet
card for this ? I tried to configure the Internet connection following the
instructions but it just does not connect.
