updated and playing dvd

I updated yesterday and only took a couple of hours to download and upgrade, not
bad in my opinion.

I am having problems now trying to play dvd's. I had no problem under 9.04 after
i updated totem. I tried it wil 9.10 and still will not work. Anyone else have
the same problem. I don't usually watch dvd's on my computer but I want it there
just incase I do.

No, my DVDs play fine. Try installing VLC it is better than Totem anyway and
it comes with most of what it needs anyway. With Totem you need to add
restricted extras. Check to see if the ubuntu-restricted-extras are
installed in Synaptic. If not install them. They should be installed if it
was an upgrade, but it is worth checking.
