anybody trying the 11.10 beta a question about synaptic package manager.
I see they are not installing it as a standard package but can anyone
install it, I could not. I had problems when I installed the beta 11.04
using the repositories before the release date is that the problem I am
having with it?

I have it installed and working in two computers, one 32-bit and one 64. One
was an upgrade and one was a fresh installation. I installed in by apt and
not Software Centre.

I don't think you can load from repositories. I have only heard of loading
from ISO image CD or DVD.
