taking vis-a-vis saving screenshots

Interesting -- the "take screenshot" launcher pointing to

gnome-screenshot --interactive

yields something different from the Print Screen key.
The popup menu is called "Take Screenshot" and it gives
a choice of whole desktop or current window, as well
as the option for a delay and the option to include
the mouse pointer or not. It does not take a screenshot
until you click an execution box. The "Save Screenshot",
occurs after the screenshot has been taken, however
long the delay if any.

On the other hand, the Print Screen key takes an
immediate screenshot and pops up the Save Screenshot
menu.

I have been keeping an icon of the Take Screenshot
launcher in my desktop panel because I didn't realize
the Printscreen key would do the same thing it does
in Windows.

If you use alt +Print Screen Key it will take a screen shot of the
window that has focus.
Where as the just pressing the Print Screen Key takes a screen shot of
the desktop.
