set msgbox in vba

i am using sql 2000

how to set msgbox in vba using sql stored procedure
i have insert value in textbox ,this textbox conect with sql sp using vba,

this textbox value check condition in sql sp, if the condition is true insert
values into table othrwise show msg in already exist,
please help
