You're behind the times, my dear. Longhorn has been code changed to
Vista...which is in beta. Office 12 will be the next version...with an
entirely new GUI, but not exclusive to Vista.

I thought I heard something about "Vista"
Where on microsoft's website can I read about "Office 12" ?

From the link you provided, was able to thread thru to the Microsoft's link on
Office 12
www.microsoft.com/office/preview/default.mspx

It looks like the old file formats( Word-.doc, Excel-.xls, Powerpoint-.ppt )
will be replaced by the XML file format.
