Can I make all negative numbers have a value of zero?

Asked By: Jeff    Date: Oct 12    Category: MS Office    Views: 744

I'm working on a loan interest spread sheet and I need to know if I can
format certain cells so that when a number turns into a negative, that
it's value would be zero instead of the negative number shown. It would
also work if the numbers stayed @ zero instead of dropping below zero
and changing to a negative. Don't know if it's possible or if I'm
making sense...

Cell A1 contains the number  2
Cell B1 contains the number 3

The following formula subtracts B1 fron A1
Cell C1 contains the formula =IF(A1-B1<0,0,A1-B1)
