calling Stored procedure from entity bean

iam trying to call a sybase stored procedure from entity bean

iam getting the following error :

this stored procedure can not be called using nested chain
trasanctions
--------

It is offering a solution to this problem

by saying set chained off in sybase session..


can anybody can reply me as to what needs to be done
