There are two completely distinct concepts that are available in Java bothhaving the name bean in them. There is a Java Bean and an Enterprise Java Bean.The two are completely different and are very well documented here:http://java.sun.com so I will purposely omit defining the two.

Yes. I just didn't want to quote two separate threads. :-) From the context ofthe questions it seemed as if people were really asking about the EJB all whilesaying they want information on Beans. So just wanted to toss that out.
