11.04 is good then 10.10?

guys i heard about unity thats its capture the user privilages as windows do.
Unity not allow to modify anything. Is this true?
I need reviews about ubnity.
I just upgrade ubuntu 10.04 to 10.10. and when i try to upgrade 11.04 i listen
these horrible info about unity.

You have to try it for yourself and do not listen to hearsay. Unity hype
goes both ways. Lots of people hate it and lots of people love it. Few are
ambivalent. It is very different, but so is the alternative, GNOME 3. GNOME
2.32 used in 10.10 is not going to be around for the long haul. GNOME has
plans to shelve it and Canonical plans to do it as soon as 11.10. I suggest
that you try Unity for a week in a VM or installed to a usb stick and if you
do not like it then do not upgrade. If Unity will not work in a VM for you
then try Unity 2D which is getting very close to Unity in terms of features.
The look and feel is the same.

Suggest you use Kubuntu 11.04 instead . You highly likely will not face any
problems . It works very smoothly for me.
