Since, I'll be reenstalling my Linux OS for the upteenth time in the near
future. I thought I might ask...

Is there a distribution that is already maximized for HD Video/Audio Editing,
Animation and Music production? Like with the software already in it and
successfully self-installing?

Ubuntustudio.org should do the trick. At one time it had Cinelerra
installed I don't know about the latest ver.. For video Cinelerra can
be installed now that runs without the headaches I found the first time
I installed it.

Do they have a live CD/DVD version of this?

Of course, the install CD is also a live CD
