Mouse Pointer

Date: Feb 07    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 337

I'm really not too happy with Unity on 11.10, so I decided to go back to
KDE to see if I like it better and I think I do. But I would like to
know how to re-size the mouse pointer so it is a bit larger.

Also, the mouse ponter has a funny behavior in that when I place it on
top of a clickable link, for example, the mouse pointer turns side-ways,
but does not turn into the typical hand-like image you often see - it
remains a pointer, but becomes side-ways. I do not like that effect.
Any easy way to change it?

In Synaptic you can search for mouse, in the past I found tools to change the
size and color, too.

In KDE, go to System Settings under Settings or Favorites in the menu. Then
click on Workspace Appearance, Cursor Theme. You can choose your them and
some can be sized where it says Resolution Dependent.

I don't know why it would turn sideways.
