Been tinkering around with various things on Ubuntu for the past month or
two now. So far, after dropping down to 32bit from 64bit pretty much
everything seems to be plug and play. Well, Ubuntu Studio is still jack'd
up (pun intended, being as jackd is what doesn't work), but anyways...I am
trying to record a new song and right now I am trying to play around with
some guitar tabs to be played with an emulator. I installed kguitar (so
synaptic says), but have not a clue as to how to run it. Any ideas?
"Kguitar manual" on google didn't help much...

open up the terminal and type in
kguitar
http://kguitar.sourceforge.net/screen.php
I use Studio 64 live CD instead of Ubie Studio. The midi in U studio is really
jacked.

If at all possible, maybe you can walk me through something like this
because my brain has ceased to function for the time being and I want to
create musical masterpieces to release to the world to enjoy.
