Configuring for Witopia PPTP VPN

Is anyone out there using Witopia VPN in a PPTP configuration?
(www.witopia.net) Their Wiki gives instructions for Linux users to
purchase a Mac license and to use PPTP when booting to Windows. At
the time, I was having problems getting WiFi workking with Hardy and I
was getting ready to go on a trip, so I bought a Windows license so I
could boot to Vista to check my mail.

I have since gotten the WiFi working. Each Witpoia license (Mac or
Windows) also comes with a PPTP license, so I would like to see if I
can get the VPN interface working through a PPTP port. Has anyone
done this?

Can you tell me what computer you are doing this with........ I've
lost track and am hopeful this means you found a solution for the non-
working wireless with Ubuntu and my systems.

I can empathize with you. I must have tried a dozen different
things. This is the one that finally worked for me:

The computer is a HP Pavilion dv2718us, with a Broadcom chipset. The
chipset was sometimes reported as a 4310, and sometimes as a 4315,
depending on how you queried the hardware.
