I want to find a calendar printing application or template for OpenOffice.

The best that I have found was an OpenOffice template for last year's
calendar.

Have a look at
fedora-tchung.blogspot.com/.../...lendar-with.html

This is an OpenOffice Writer extension for creating calendars.

Why not try SunBird the mozilla project:
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/sunbird/

There is also lots of web calendars, java calendars, Evolution calendar, there
is the shell command "cal" that print a text calendar, and the list goes on.
You should Google a bit first!

That did the trick. I printed one through the Lightning extension in
Thunderbird.
