What does PMT stand for

AllCan Anyone Let me know what does \'PMT\' stands for?. I Know it is used
for finding EMIs but what does PMT means, similarly there area other functions
like PPMT, IPMT.

Some common financial abbreviations are:

APR - Annual Percentage Rate
EMI - Equated Monthly Installment
FV - Future Value
IPMT - Interest Payment
NPER - Number of Payments (N)
PMT - Payment
PPMT - Principal Payment
PV - Present Value
RATE - Interest per year (also APR) (I/Y on calculators)
