help newbie please this is driving me nuts

I'm creating a sheet which calculates re-rostered rest days in
column a the user types a date the day was earned (Date Worked) , column
b auto calculates a date 3 months in advance of the user date Column c
automatically calculates the months passed between the two dates (months
past), in column d the user types in the number of days owed (days
Owed), in column e the user would type in the date the day was taken
(date taken), column f shows if the day earned is less than 3 months old
and column G if the day earned is more than 3 months old.

For example

Column a column b months days Date
<3months >3months

Past
owed Taken

01/09/2005

01/12/2005

My question is when the user enters the date taken date how do I cancel
the numbers in the days owed cell and either the <3months cell or the
>3months cell using vba.

I'd be grateful for any help you might be able to offer.
